About Us
Growing up in a construction family, Allen Gill, became a licensed contractor in 1991, doing all phases of general engineering construction and excavation projects. Ultimately, Allen began to dedicate the majority of his business to the installation of septic systems. In 2004, Allen was “handpicked” by Racki Bros. to take over the company they had started some 30 years earlier. Allen was picked by Rod and Larry Racki to buy their company because of his septic construction knowledge, work ethic and integrity. At that time, Allen Gill Construction, Inc., was formed.
Allen is a lifelong resident of Shasta County, being the fourth generation to reside on his family’s ranch in Millville. Allen attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on a rodeo team scholarship, majoring in Ag Business. Allen has been a National High School Rodeo Association and National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association team roping champion. He has also been the California Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association champion heeler, steer wrestler and a two time All-Around Champion.
In 1989, Allen married his wife, Tracy, also a lifelong resident of Shasta County. Tracy serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Allen Gill Construction, Inc. Tracy has a degree in Accounting and worked for several years as a legal assistant to a law partner at a large lawfirm.
In 1996, Allen and Tracy’s son, Brody, was born. Together, the Gill family interests include: Rodeo, basketball, baseball, golf and, most recently, fly fishing for Allen. |
